My husband and I want to let you know how happy we are with our new Earth Woodsman 400 Outdoor Wood Furnace. With continually rising electric bills, we were weighing the pros and cons of purchasing a new and hopefully more efficient electric furnace versus an outdoor wood furnace. After receiving our electric bill in December 2009 for $424.00 the decision was practically made for us. We decided to purchase the Earth Woodsman 400 which was installed January 20th. As luck would have it, it was also the first day of the new electric bill cycle so we were anxious to see what our savings would be. By the way, our electric bill for January was $457.00. the electric bill for February was…are you ready for this…$112.00!!! Wow, one-fourth of the January bill! Just wanted to pass along that the Stump family in Annapolis, MO, are thrilled with the performance of our Rancher 365 series furnace. It is currently 76 degrees in our “leaky/old” house and it is 16 degrees outside. What a blessing! Not very often that you buy something and it exceeds your expectations.
